Team Racing was held in Falmouth Harbour right off the pier of the Antigua Yacht Club as the Seaboard Optimist North American Championship 2016 hosted by the Antigua Yacht Club continued.
All North American countries race on one course with the non NA countries on the other.
Bermuda raced Mexico 3 first and won then lost in a tiebreak with US Virgin Island.
The team went on to defeat Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Island.
With 4 teams left in the water, Bermuda faced undefeated USA 1. The USA are always strong at team racing and Bermuda fought valiantly losing only in the last moments of the race.
Bermuda finished 4th in the team racing, a very strong showing for this team.
Eventual winners were USA 1 then USA 2 followed by Mexico 1, Fleet racing continues Saturday.
