Day Three of the Optimist Worlds Championship 2016 saw Bermuda’s young sailors back the water in Vilamoura, Portugal. Two more races were sailed taking the total to 6 races thus far.
At the halfway point, fluky conditions, short choppy waves and current have proven to be an obstacle for the Bermuda Sailors.
Jordan Etemadi continues to lead the local sailors, he is in 107th place with 127 Net Points. Etemadi’s best finish is his 12th place result on Day One.
Micah Raynor currently holds the 219th position having accumulated 237 Net Points, while Leyli Walker is one spot back with 238 Net Points.
Tayte Stefaniuk is in 223rd place with 247 net Points and Felix Cutler is in 246th place with 278 Net Points.
