Four days after www.islandstats.com reported Bermuda's MacKenzie Cooper helped St. Mary's College of Maryland finish second overall in the MAISA Team Race Championship/Capt. Prosser Trophy Sailing Regatta, we now report Ryan Astwood and his Boston University teammates finished 12th with a record of 2 and 9 during the 2016 New England Team Race Championship.
Yale University were crowned the 2016 New England Team Race Championship with racing concluding hosted by Coast Guard.
Astwood and his teammates picked up wins over Roger Williams University and Bowdoin College, but fell to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College, U. S. Coast Guard Academy, Yale University, University of Rhode Island, Harvard University, Connecticut College, Brown University and Boston College.
