Six Bermuda youth sailors continued competing in Salinas Ecuador on Day 3 of the International Optimist Dinghy Association's (IODA) South American Championships.
Representing Bermuda are Jordan Etemadi, Sebastian Kempe, Luke Madeiros, Rian McDonnell-Geraghty, Tayte Stefaniuk and Leyli Walker. They are accompanied by their Coach Pablo Weber.
Now that they have sailed 6 races the sailors are now allowed to drop a race.
Etemadi continues to lead the Bermuda Fleet, but he fell from his starting position of 44th place to end the day with 86 points in 49th place.
Kempe is in 90th with 123 points, while McDonnell-Geraghty finds himself in 94th place with 132 points and Walker is now in 98th place with 139 points.
Stefaniuk is currently in 110th with 161 points and Madeiros is holding down the 121st spot with 173 points.
