Six Bermuda youth sailors continued competing in Salinas Ecuador on Day Two of the International Optimist Dinghy Association's (IODA) South American Championships.
Only one race was sailed on the day, representing Bermuda are Jordan Etemadi, Sebastian Kempe, Luke Madeiros, Rian McDonnell-Geraghty, Tayte Stefaniuk and Leyli Walker. They are accompanied by their Coach Pablo Weber.
Etemadi is leading the Bermuda Fleet after three races, he finished the lone race of the day in 22nd falling from his starting position of 36th place to end the day with 53 points in 44th place.
McDonnell-Geraghty finds himself in 58th place with 66 points, while Walker jumped up the leaderboard from her 94th place starting to 71st after she finished 14th, she now has 60 points.
Kempe is in 99th with 97 points, while Madeiros is 104th with 99 points and Stefaniuk is currently in 111th.
