Day Two of the 2016 Sailing World Cup Miami presented by Sunbrella saw Ceci Wollmann, Cameron Pimentel and the rest of the competing sailors dealing with a morning breeze that faded to nothing by noon, which translated to a bit of waiting.
When racing did get underway, Pimentel started the day off with a good start finishing 9th, covering the course in 54:12, he finished 31st in the second race with a time of 1:01:16, after four races completed in the Men’s Laser Blue Fleet Pimentel finds himself in 54th place overall with 64 Net Points.
Competing in the Women’s Yellow Laser Radial Fleet which didn't start until after 4pm local time, Wollmann had an even better start finishing the first race of the day and the second of the Regatta clocking a time of 46:58. After the two races Wollmann is in 9th place overall with 14 Net Points.
