Bermuda will once again be represented in Miami as Coral Reef Yacht Club host the 2015 Orange Bowl Sailing Regatta which gets underway on December 27th.
Bermuda’s young Sailors will fly the flags of the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club and the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
The Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta brings world-class sailing talent to South Florida in a five-day event that has become the largest international youth regatta in the U.S. and South America for sailors ages 8-18. Featuring more than 700 sailors from 20 countries, past regatta participants have achieved notoriety in the sailing world, including current U.S. Junior Women's singlehanded champion, Sophia Reineke, who competed in the 2013 event.
Ethan Edmunds, Aiden Lopes, Rachael Betschart, Peter Komposch, Skye Oliveira, Cameron Pimentel, Jack Roberts, Gianni Santucci, Nicholas Bridges, Adam Larson, Jacob Pimentel, Daylon Whitter, Christian Ebbin, Sebastian Kempe, Daniel Larson and Magnus Ringsted will all compete in the Optimist Class.
