Cecilia Wollmann and Cameron Pimentel were once again back on the waters of Veracruz as the Central American and Caribbean Games Sailing competition continued.
Following a lengthy protest in the Women Laser Radial Opening Series, Wollmann began in 2nd place with 9 points, while Pimentel entered the day in 10th.
Wollmann was moved from 9th to 5th in the first race after a protest that several sailors took the wrong turn.
In the Women Laser Radial Opening Series Race 3 and first of the day, Wollmann crossed the line in 7th place, she then recorded an 8th place finish in the second race of the day. The final race of the day and the fifth of the series saw Wollmann finish 7th.
Pimentel finished the first race of the day and the third of the Men’s Laser Opening Series in 11th place, he then recorded a 13th place finish in the second race of the day. Pimentel closed out his day finishing the third race and the fifth of the Series in 10th place.
