The 2014 Bermuda International Invitational Race Week got underway in the Great Sound, Comets, Etchells and Youth Lasers all took to the waters in heavy winds and waves.
In the Comet Class, Rockal Evans and his crew Christina Barnard are the leaders with 4 points, after winning the first two races of the day and then finishing second in the third race.
Stephen Dickinson and his crew Pat Young finished second in the first two races and then won the third race, they are in second place with 5 points, Ceci Wollmann and her crew Peter Dill recorded three third place finishes and are in third with 9 points.
Benn Smith leads the Youth Radial & Laser 4.7 Fleet with 6 points, Smith recorded three wins and one second place finish, Thomas Penruddocke is currently in second with 9 points and George Buckley is in third with 15 points.
Tim Patton is leading the Etchells Class by one point ahead of Jason Owen from Great Britain. Patton recorded a win and two second place finishes for his 5 points, while Owen recorded one win, one second place finish and a third for his 6 points. John Hele currently holds the third place spot with 7 points.
