The OPTIMIST INDIVIDUAL SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP (ISAM), OPTIMIST TEAM RACING SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP (TRSAM) and the OPTIMIST NATIONS CUP (NC) concluded in Uruguay.
Fifteen countries and 158 sailors participated in the event. The 8-person Bermuda National Team for this event consisted of Joe Arrowsmith, George Buckley, Camille Chin-Gurrett, Felix Cutler, Yanick Hillier, Adam Larson, Tayte Stefaniuk and Mikey Wollmann.
After Five Races sailed in the Amarillo Fleet Stefaniuk finish in 38th place with 75 points, while Larson finished in 45th place with 91 points and Arrowsmith finished in the 50th position with 98 points
Wollmann finished in 21st competing in the Azul Fleet with 114 points, Cutler finished in 33rd place with 129 points, Buckley finished in 40th place with 135 points, while Chin-Gurrett finished in 42nd place with 138th place.
Hillier finished in 33rd place competing in the Rojo Fleet with 184 points.
