A bit of fog this morning followed by two more races at Sail Newport in Newport, Rhode Island on Day 3 of the 2012 USODA New England Championship saw the five Bermuda sailors back on the water.
Chase Cooper, James Amaral, Ben Smith, Ceci and Mikey Wollmann have all taken to the water among 321 competitors. All five sailors finished in the top 70 after nine races.
The Regatta was won by Jack Johansson, with 12 points, while JC Hermus was second with 13 points, Sean Brennan, was third with 19 points, Shawn Harvey, finished fourth with 23 points and Audrey Giblin, finished fifth and was the top Girl with 28 points.
Mikey Wollmann finished the days two races in 8th and 3rd to move up from his 35th place starting point to finish 19th overall, with 55 points.
Cooper finished 22nd with 56 points, Ceci Wollmann finished in 27th place with 63 points, Smith finished in 45th place overall with 117 points and James Amaral finished 68th with 148 points.
