Five Sailors Compete in New England Championships

Five Bermuda sailors are currently competing in the 2012 USODA New England Championship at Sail Newport.

Chase Cooper, James Amaral, Ben Smith, Ceci and Mikey Wollmann have all taken to the water among 321 competitors. All five sailors are in the top 60 after seven races.

Jack Johannson, leads the Regatta with 9 points, while JC Hermus, is in second with 11 points and Sean Brennan, rounds out the top three with 14 points. The top female sailor is Audrey Giblin she is in eighth overall with 25 points.

Ceci Wollmann leads the Bermuda contingent, she is in 21st place with 39 points, Wollmann is 4th in the Female Division.

Three places back is Cooper who has 43 points, Mikey Wollmann is in 35th place overall, with 44 points, he is currently ranked 4th in the Under 12 Division, Smith is in 47th place overall with 89 points and James Amaral is 55th with 93 points.
