Sean Bouchard and his Roger Williams University Sailing teammates finished second at the ICSA National Championship Eastern Semi-Finals, earning one of 18 spots in the Gill/ICSA Coed Dinghy National Championship in June. Roger Williams finished with 135 points, 15 shy of Eastern Semi-Final winner Georgetown University. In the Western Semifinal, the University of Miami claimed the other top spot. In the A Division, Alec Anderson, Tyler Wilson and Sophie Bellacosa piloted Roger Williams to a win in the Division with 66 points. The trio finished seventh or better in every race but two, with wins in five separate races including back-to-back-to-back wins in races 10 through 12.
In the B Division, Bouchard and Female Athlete of the Year Kelly Stannard combined for a fourth-place effort with 69 points. Similar to the team at A Division, Bouchard and Stannard placed no lower than seventh in 12 of the 14 races. The two won the second and 13th races while finishing as runners-up in races six and nine. Roger Williams travel down to Texas June 6th – 8th for the Gill/ICSA Coed Dinghy National Championship and look to improve upon last year's sixth-place finish.
