The Bermuda Comet Racing Season moved into full gear with the Mid-Winter Regatta hosted by the West End Sail Boat Club.
Gladwin Lambert and his crew Greg Proctor won the four race Regatta with a total of 4 points, Lambert edged out Martin Finnigan and his crew Zawady Place who also finished with four points, however Lambert finished with a better overall score before the one race drop system.
After all four races are sailed sailors are allowed to drop the worst finish and Finnigan’s worst finish was a sixth, while Lambert worst was a fourth. Tre Joinville and his crew Peter Mcglashan finished third with 9 points.
