Nahki Wells and his Bristol City teammates struck late in each half to compile a first defeat of the season on Stoke City and maintain Dean Holden’s 100% record.
It was encouraging at both ends as Wells and Andreas Weimann got their first goals of the 2020/21 campaign, while the defense earned their second clean sheet in all competitions.

Aaliyah Nolan started as Leeds United Women began their 2020/21 campaign going down 2 – 1 away to Norton Ladies in the FA Women's National League Division One.
Leeds took the lead in the 28th minute, Laura Bartrup making her debut fired in from 20 yards out. Norton Ladies drew level in the 62nd minute when Bianca Owens scored from the spot.
In the 83rd minute Bianca Owens headed Norton in front, which proved to be the winner.
EVA FRAZZONI
Eva Frazzoni and her Gamla Upsala SK Dam Women’s teammates who play in Sweden’s Division 1 Norra Svealand, defeated Ljusdal IF 3 - 1.
Ljusdal took the lead in the 5th minute when Ellika Persson scored, Gamla drew level in the 21st minute when Ann Wanglund scored, two minutes later Gamla took the lead with a strike from Elin Mattsson.
Agnes Lundberg would make it 3 – 1 when she found the back of the net in the 77th minute.
WILLIE CLEMONS
Willie Clemons and his Dalkurd teammates drew 1 – 1 at home against Brage in their Swedish Superettan Premier Division match.
After a scoreless first half, Brage took the lead when Seth Hellberg found the back of the net in the 61st minute.
Dalkurd would get the equalizer in a dramatic stoppage time period. In the 2nd minute of stoppage time Brage were reduced to ten men when Alexander Zetterstrom was sent off, and then in the 7th minute of stoppage time Malkolm Moenza would level the score finding the back of the net for Dalkurd.
MILAN BUTTERFIELD
Milan Butterfield and his Chesterfield teammates lost 2-0 loss Alfreton Town in a pre-season friendly at the Imapct Arena following goals from James Jones and Jake Day.
A strong side was fielded including new signings Kyle Letheren and Butterfield. Haydn Hollis also started after missing the Belper Town game.
