Norwich Ladies Sport Light on Keunna Dill

IslandStats.com
With the Norwich Ladies Football Season ended due to the Coronavirus, the club is Spotlighting the players, today they look at Keunna Dill.

Dill said on her personal page, “Football (soccer) has been a huge part of my life since I was 4 years old, and through the ups and downs of playing and injuries I have discovered my passion, physical therapy. I am a current member of Bermuda's U23 Women's National team and Drexel University's Women's soccer team. For my school's team I serve as the representative for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Though I am pursuing a career in Physical Therapy I will also pursue personal training.

I have worked closely with a physical therapist, founder and owner of Hands-On Therapy, a top of the line physical therapy clinic in Bermuda, where I was born and raised. She introduced me to myofascial release and the entire hands on approach to physical therapy. Additionally, beginning in April of 2017, I acquired a 6 month internship at a Pro-Bono physical therapy clinic in North Philadelphia, in which I gained experience with the exercised-based portion of physical therapy. Additionally, I acquired a summer internship in 2018 at Apex Physiotherapy. Working closely with these therapists has provided me with creative thinking skills to come up with new exercises for patients when old ones are no longer working.

My 18 years of experience on the soccer field has given me leadership and teamwork skills, along with the compassion to understand and appreciate people from different backgrounds and cultures with different ideas and experiences.”
