Southend United get us underway at the National Sports Centre, Freddy Eastwood creates a good chance for United when he outpaced the defense only to see his cross go untouched. Shuan Goater is being closely watched by the Southend defense. Bermuda get the first corner of the game as that was taken by Domico Coddington, Keishen Bean's shot from just outside the box goes just wide. United's James Lawson has a good run at the Bermuda defense but finds Che Wilson offside. Keishen Bean has had the best chance to put Bermuda ahead, when he beat the offside trap but ran out of running space after rounding the keeper. Jamal Campbell-Ryce has made Timmy Figureido in goal for Bermuda go low to his right to make a save, and less than a minute later Campbell-Ryce's cross was deflected for a corner. Coddington watches a shot go just wide as he runs hard at the United defense. Stephen Astwood splits the defense with a through ball to Shaun Goater but he could not control the ball as it rolls to Darryl Flahavan in the Southend goal. Figureido has made a brilliant save at the feet of Campbell-Ryce. Devrae Tankard has missed the chance of life time when three Bermuda players beat the offside trap and sub Tyrell Burgess drew the keeper and passed to an unmarked Tankard who watched in horror as his shot went wide of the target. Shaun Goater has a half volley go just wide as Bermuda put the visitors under a little pressure. Two minutes before halftime Shaun Goater and Jahnai Raynor have teamed well together to put Bermuda in front, Raynor won the ball from Campbell-Ryce deep in the Southend half and played a give and go with Goater, in return he played it back to Goater who's shot from just outside the box could not be stopped by Flahavan. Shaun Goater is now leading the Southend attack as the second half gets underway. Shaun Goater has scored a header from a Frank Moussa cross to make the score Bermuda 1 Southend 1 giving Figureido no chance. Both teams are now struggling to find any flow as the fouls are starting to add up. Bermuda could only half clear a Southend corner as far as Mitchell Cole who's shot went wide. Bermuda go back in front, Kwame Stede scored from a mix up in the Southend box, a free kick from Taurean Manders fell to the feet of Steede after defenders failed to clear and he made no mistake from 15 yards out. Shaun Goater has scored again for Southend United with a volley from the edge of the box. Southend had a good build up down the right side and a pass found Goater on the edge of the box, Goater spun on a dime and fired the ball home. GOATER NOW LEAVES THE FIELD TO A STANDING OVATION. James Lawson given Southend he lead from a goal mouth scramble.
