Kamen Tucker gave the Union the lead with seven minutes remaining in the quarter. Tucker won the ball near midfield and found Dennis Russell who’s pass went into the on rushing Tucker who made no mistake. The quarter comes to an end and the Kings have yet to concede a goal in the 2008 Island Soccer League.
2nd Quarter
Kris Furbert equalized for the Kings with 1:20 remaining in the quarter. Furbert scored the first goal against Jason Smith in goal for the Kings with a low right footed shot. As the half comes to an end the teams go to the break even at 1 – 1.
3rd Quarter
Russell put the Union back in front with a goal one minute into the quarter. A long ball forward found Russell who scored from close range.
4th Quarter
Rohaan Simons after hitting the upright twice in the game, found the back of the net to give the Union a 3 – 1 lead with 11:00 remaining in the game. Ryan Nesbitt scored for the Union with 5:30 remaining to make the score 4 – 1. With 2:35 remaining Otis Steede made it 5 – 1 to the Union.
Arsenal 3 Royal 7
1st Quarter
Dwyia Blyden gave the Arsenal the lead with 10:30 remaining in the quarter. Travis Wilkinson took on two defenders and his cross was put away by Blyden. Cecoy Robinson doubled the Arsenal lead with a rocket the flew pass Zane Hendrickson in goal for the Royal.
2nd Quarter
Adrian Burrows pulled a goal back for the Royal with a low shot the beat Arsenal goal keeper Gerald Simons.
3rd Quarter
Jemieko Jennings equalized for the Royal with a goal from close range with 3:00 remaining. On a shoot-out Burrows beat Simons with no time left on the clock to put the Royal ahead 3 – 2.
4th Quarter
Burrows scored again from close range to put the Royal up 4 – 2. Sergio Goater beat Simons with a low shot to make the score 5 – 2 to the Royal. After some good work by Jennings, that saw him beat two defenders he slipped the ball to Jamie Smith to score. With 5:00 minutes remaining Jelani Butterfield got in on the scoring act when he scored to make the score 7 – 2. Wilkinson pulled a goal back on full time for Arsenal to make the final score 7 – 3.
