Jessie Fleming opened the scoring for Chelsea inside 14 minutes with a beautifully placed right-footed volley, but a strong start to the second half saw them double their advantage shortly after the hour when Sam Kerr clinically converted an excellent cross from Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, before substitute Aggie Beever-Jones found the far corner with a wonderful stoppage-time strike.

Thompson came off the bench in the second half, but she could not help Eibar find a goal.
