Leeds struck first with Dan James’ goal in the 38th minute but City leveled the score just before halftime through Kal Naismith, despite City’s second-half efforts, Leeds finished with all three points.
City was forced into an early substitution with Harry Cornick replacing Wells after he suffered an ankle injury.

Second-half goals from Justin Amaluzor and Donawa secured the win for Alty, making it five victories in a row for Altrincham FC, who are now fourth in the Vanarama National League.
In the 90th minute and up 1 – 0, quick thinking and a quick free-kick allowed Dior Angus and Donawa to break against a solitary Gateshead defender. Angus beat the man and had a shot saved by Mair, but the rebound fell perfectly to Donawa, who tapped the ball into an empty net.
