Bermuda's Overseas Footballers Round-Up

Zeiko Lewis and his Sacramento Republic FC teammates secured a 2 - 0 victory, defeating Las Vegas Lights FC in the two sides’ final contest of the 2023 season. Sacramento remains in first place in the Western Conference with the win, moving to 58 points in the table.

The 2-0 win was accompanied by a historic occasion in front of a capacity crowd on Youth Soccer Day at Heart Health Park. In the 87th minute of the match, Republic FC forward Da’vian Kimbrough entered for Keko, becoming the youngest professional soccer player to debut in a competitive match aged 13 years, 7 months, and 13 days. Kimbrough becomes the youngest professional athlete in American team sports; the next youngest being New York City FC 2’s Maximo Carizzo in 2022.

Djair Parfitt-Williams

For a second week in a row, Djair Parfitt-Williams would score helping Ilves teammates win.

Ilves edged FC Honka 2 – 1 on the road in Finland Suomen Cup action.

Lauri Laine gave FC Honka the lead in the 8th minute, Tatu Miettunen equalized for Ilves in the 14th minute, Parfitt-Williams would put Ilves ahead in the 27th minute, his goal would prove to be the winner.

Nathan Trott

Nathan Trott’s Vejle BK manager Ivan Prelec looked after the match like a man who had felt the referee's 10-minute extra time as an eternity.

Vejle BK drew 0 – 0 with Nordsjaelland in Danish Cup Second Round action.

Prelec said he had told Trott before the game that the team would need him more than ever and that he would probably have to pull out some crazy saves.
