Mia Fishel and her Tigres UANL Women’s Football teammates and Monterrey played to a 2 – 2 draw.
Monterrey came into the match in second place, while Tigres were third.
Fishel gave Tigres the lead in the 20th minute with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box, but Monterrey was level on the stroke of halftime with Diana Evangelista equalizing.
Monterrey would take the lead in the 52nd minute with a goal from Christina Burkenroad, but Lizbeth Ovalle equalized for Tigres with a shot that went in off the upright.
