The Group stages of the Dudley Eve Cup competition came to an end at the Devonshire Recreation Club, with a double-header that produced 11 goals on the night.
Group C
Devonshire Cougars 5 Robin Hood 0
In the opener, two early goals in this Group C match saw the Devonshire Cougars eventually run away 5 – 0 winners against Robin Hood.
The Devonshire Cougars took the lead in the 5th minute through a goal from Elisha Darrell.
The lead was doubled in the 18th minute when Zari Simmons found the back of the net.
They would take that lead to the break.
In the second half, the Devonshire Cougars would get goals from Zeko White got the ball rolling in the 77th minute, Christian Albouy found the back of the net in the 80th minute, and Chris Caisey scored in the 87th minute.
Group A
Dandy Town Hornets 3 North Village Rams 3
In the nightcap, the Dandy Town Hornets took the lead in the 6th minute, when Chemarl Henry scored, following a bad clearance by the goalkeeper, Henry collected it and scored. The North Village Rams would equalize with a goal in the 13th minute from Jalen Harvey, who had a firm header at the back post off a corner, but six minutes later the Dandy Town Hornets would retake the lead when Angelo Simmons scored. The North Village Rams would then draw level yet again in the 28th minute when Jaizel Smith-Deshields scored. Nizigh Spence would put the Dandy Town Hornets in front for a third time when he found the back of the net in the 44th minute with a long-range free kick.
In the second half, Ian Simmons would for the third time draw the North Village Rams level tying the game at 3 – 3 in the 68th minute, also with a long-range blast. Neither team would score again in the match as they shared the points.
