For the second time in the Dudley Eve Cup competition this season the PHC Zebras have defeated an opponent 6 – 0, this time it was the Somerset Trojans.
The PHC Zebras had an early chance to take the lead when they were awarded a penalty, but Marco Warren’s spot kick was saved, however, it was not long before they would take the lead as Kadeem Abraham headed them in front, and minutes later it was 2 – 0, a Warren free kick was saved by the Somerset Trojans goalkeeper, but Keishon Bean was quickest to react and scored from the rebound. Shavy Nisbett would then make it 3 – 0 just before the break.
Daren Usher would blast in PHC Zebras’ 4th with a shot from inside the box, Nisbett would add his second goal of the game before Warren would get on the scoresheet with the team's 6th of the night.
X-Road’s 6 Boulevard Blazers 1
In the nightcap, X-Road’s who started the competition falling 6 – 0, turned it around and defeated the Boulevard Blazers 6 – 1.
A second-half hat-trick from Donovan Thompson saw X-Road’s hold a 6 – 0 lead after 75 minutes. Jamin Lottimore gave X-Road’s the lead in the 5th minute, Che Brangman doubled the lead in the 27th minute, before Lottimore scored his second goal of the game in the 44th minute to earn X-Road’s a 3 – 0 lead at the break.
Thompson would then find the back of the net in the 53rd, 71st, and 75th minutes. The Boulevard Blazers would score the game's final goal, as Jerome Bailey found the back of the net in the 79th minute.
