Hastings United announced the retention of Bermudian International, Knory Scott.
Scott will stay with The ‘U’s for the 2022/23 season.
Scott said, “I’m extremely happy to be back playing for Hastings United this season. After a good end to the season last year I hope to increase my reputation as an impactful player. I can’t wait to feel the energy from the fan and more importantly I am excited to help the team win games of football this year. I’d like to thank Gary, Meeney, Brownie, and Billy for giving me the opportunity to come back this year.”
First Team Manager Gary Elphick said, “I am delighted to extend Scott’s stay at the club. He was probably the most improved player last season and I felt he grew strong as the season went on. A great lad and he really pushed on, adapting and excelling in the shape we played last season when I was appointed.”
Chairman Billy Wood said, “Scott is an exceptional talent, deceptively quick and the ball sticks to him like glue. The thing I love about Scott is when he joined the club it really wasn’t easy for him, spending a lot of time outside the side. However, under Elphick the player came alive and was a massive part of our success, winning the Isthmian South East League and becoming a real fan favorite. I know the supporters will be just as happy as all of us he will be with us for another year.”
