Kenni Thompson and her Civitas Santa Teresa Badajoz teammates picked up a 2 – 1 win over her former club Espanyol to move up to 14th place in the Spanish Women’s First Division.
Civitas Santa took the lead in the 42nd minute when Estefa scored, four minutes later it was 2 – 0, Thompson found Maria Neira on the box and she finished off with his right-footed shot to score.
Espanyol pulled a goal back in the 55th minute when Cristina Baudet scored, but Civitas Santa did enough to hold off the host and take the three points.

Djair Parfitt-Williams and his Fylkir Reykjavík teammate’s fell 2 – 1 to Breiðablik Kópavogur in their Iceland League Cup A, Group 4, Round 5 match.
Thomas Mikkelsen gave Breiðablik Kópavogur the lead in the 12th minute, but Parfitt-Williams and his teammates drew level in the 41st minute with a Damir Muminovic goal.
Fylkir Reykjavík chances of pulling off the win were made difficult in the 63rd minute when Ragnar Bragi Sveinsson was sent off, and then in the 81st minute Viktor Karl Einarsson scored the Breiðablik Kópavogur winner.
