Djair Parfitt-Williams and his Fylkir Reykjavík teammates season is resuming with the Iceland Reykjavik Cup.
Playing in Group B, Parfitt-Williams and Fylkir defeated Fram 3 – 2.
Fram took the lead in the 1st minute of the match when Albert Hafsteinsson scored, but Fylkir equalized in the 25th minute when Oskar Borgborsson found the back of the net.
Fylkir would go ahead in the 45th minute when Orri Hrafn Kjartansson converted a strike from the penalty spot.
Three minutes into the second half Fram were level as Aron Snaer Ingason scored, but Hakon Ingi Jonsson scored in the 62nd minute for Fylkir to earn the win.
Milan Butterfield was not in the Chesterfield team as they advanced through to the fifth round of the Buildbase FA Trophy after winning in a penalty shoot-out at Boston United.
They won 4-1 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time, to set up a trip to Aldershot Town.
As we reported yesterday, Butterfield is back at the club and was training with the team, but was not selected.
