The lead was doubled for Spennymoor in the 58th minute when Ben McKenna whipped in the most inviting cross a striker could ask for, with power, pace and it all required was a touch, and Glen Taylor obliged.

In the 76th minute trying to get back into the match, fans witnessed three big chances for Farsley, but Eve was up for the challenge making a brilliant double save to deny James Spencer then Jake Charles before Jordan Richards then smashed his shot over the bar.

Charles would not be denied six minutes later when he beat Eve to reduce the score to 2 – 1, but Eve and his teammates earned the three points.
