It is not official, however, according to the CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani, the first two FIFA Windows for the World Cup Qualifiers will be pushed back to March 2021.
Speaking with www.islandstats.com in an interview, Montagliani said, “FIFA and CONCACAF will be meeting soon to discuss the concerns raised by countries on the issue of the October and November dates with the Coronavirus pandemic issue still in the forefront of countries minds.”
Bermuda was drawn in Group B along with Canada, Aruba, Cayman Island, and Suriname and was due to play matches on October 8th and 13th and then November 13th and 18th.
Montagliani concluded, “We will be getting together really soon and an announcement will forthcoming in a joint statement, we understand the concerns and we want to address the issue as soon as possible.”
