Zeiko Lewis and his Charleston Battery teammates picked up a 1 – 0 win over Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Charleston was taking on the Tampa Bay side that had arguably been one of the best teams in the USL Championship this season and one of two remaining undefeated squads in the league.
In the 22nd minute, the Battery got the all-important goal when Stavros Zaokostas scored from just inside the box.
But the biggest talking point of the game was when play stopped from 7:00 to 8:46 as both teams came together to recognize the fight for equality, diversity, and social justice.
