JONTE SMITH
Jonte Smith and Reuben Reid played 45 minutes for a strong Cheltenham Reserve team that won 3-1 at Reading.
Rohan Ince also played a full game, while 15-year-old Harvey Skurek from the club's Under-16s squad featured at left wing back.
Cheltenham went ahead on 20 minutes when Chris Clements put the side in front.
It was 2-0 a minute into the second half, Smith replaced Reid at half time and made an instant impact scoring within 60 seconds.
Cheltenham’s third came through Alex Addai on 49 minutes.
Max Sheaf also earned 45 minutes of game time, playing in the second half as a substitute for second year scholar Grant Horton.
REGGIE LAMBE
Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates were knocked out of this season’s Leasing.Com Trophy via a penalty shoot defeat at the hands of Arsenal Under 21’s at the Abbey Stadium.
Cambridge United lined up with nine changes from their previous fixture against Crawley Town, with George Maris and Lambe the only players to have started in the victory over the Red Devils four days earlier.

Milan Butterfield and his Kidderminster teammates took on King’s Lynn Town at Aggborough Stadium.
Butterfield and Kidderminster went down 4 – 2.
