NATHAN TROTT

Nathan Trott watched from the sidelines as his AFC Wimbledon teammates produced a promising pre-season display at Hampton & Richmond today with a wonderful free-kick from Luke O’Neill clinching victory in style.

O’Neill provided the highlight of a 3-1 win for Wimbledon after earlier goals from Will Nightingale and Joe Pigott. It was certainly a good performance just a week before 2019/20 gets underway with new signings O’Neill and Callum Reilly impressing.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates schedule of pre-season fixtures was concluded with 0-0 draw against League One Ipswich Town at the Abbey Stadium.

The game provided Colin Calderwood’s men with one final chance to complete their preparations and add minutes to the tank ahead of the start 2019/20 campaign which kicks off at Bradford City in a weeks’ time.

DANTE LEVEROCK

Dante Leverock and his Sligo Rovers teammates played to a 1 – 1 draw against the Bohemians.

The Bohemians took the lead after converting from the penalty spot, midway through the first half, but a ball in box, saw David Cawley’s shot deflected and in to level the score at 1 – 1 minutes before the break.

KNORY SCOTT

Knory Scott started but he and his Kidderminster teammates went down 4-1 at Halesowen Town as pre-season drew to a close.

Jaiden White netted late for the visitors with a free-kick, on an afternoon that saw an experienced Yeltz side run out relatively comfortable winners.

OSAGI BASCOME - TEVAHN TYRELL – JUSTIN DONAWA

Osagi Bascome, Tevahn Tyrell and Justin Donawa all started on the bench for Darlington as they produced their best performance of pre-season with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Middlesbrough Under 23’s.

The fans were treated to come excellent football, with some very good interchanges, good passing, plenty of efforts on goal and three well-worked goals.

All three Bermuda players made their way onto the pitch.
