Bean is Eligible to Play Again for the Trojans
Shaquille Bean is now eligible to play again for the Somerset Trojans after serving a four match ban handed down by the Bermuda Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee.

You would recall during a Dudley Eve match at the PHC Stadium on September 3rd, with the Somerset Trojans down 2 – 0 goalkeeper Bean was sent off for using offensive insulting or abusive language/or gesture like gestures to the crowd behind the goal.

At the conclusion of the game Bean’s antics continued when he first was denied access to discuss the issue of his red card with match officials, he would then continue his assault of abusive gestures to a crowd of spectators behind the goal.

Bean was first confronted by a security staff member who attempted to remove him from the playing field area, only for Bean to resist, members of the Bermuda Police Service then got involved placing handcuffs on Bean and taking him from the club grounds in a Police Vehicle.

Somerset Cricket Club officials have confirmed to www.islandstats.com that Bean was handed a four match ban for the incident and is now eligible to resume playing for the West End club who are presently at the bottom of the Premier Division.
