While some media outlets reporters spend time looking to find more information regarding an incident during a football match that the reporter themself did not attend, members of the Bermuda’s Women’s National team returned to the island this afternoon following their 4th place finish in the CONACAF Women’s Championship Qualifying Caribbean Zone final round in Jamaica.
The Bermuda team finished with 1 win and 3 defeats, scoring 5 goals, but conceded 9.
Greeting the team at the airport was the President of the Bermuda Football Association Mark Wade and other Executive Members of the Association.
Wade welcomed the team back, with coach Naquita Robinson mentioning the fact that there is still work to be done for the Senior team, also Akeyla Furbert who was celebrating her birthday was very proud of the girls, but also knows that more work needs to be done.
