According to the Daily Star, QPR have made a formal approach for Burnley striker Nahki Wells to bring the former Huddersfield man to Loftus Road.
The striker is widely expected to leave Burnley on loan this summer after failing to make an impression for the Clarets since arriving from the Terriers in a £5million deal.
Wells arrived at Turf Moor last summer but after an injury disrupted the first few months at the club, he was limited to just 10 cameo appearances during the rest of the campaign.
This has led to reports of a Burnley exit.
Queens Park Rangers are among a number of Championship clubs who are said to be monitoring his situation alongside the likes of Frank Lampard's Derby County.
