The Bermuda Football Association announced that the Bermuda Senior Men’s National Team will play two international friendly matches in March.
Bermuda continue their preparation for the CONCACAF Nations League which will kick off during the fourth quarter of 2018. The team will travel south to the Caribbean to play the Antigua and Barbuda National Team on March 21st. They will then take the relatively short trip to Barbados to resume the rivalry when they take on the Barbados Senior Men’s National Team on March 25th.
Bermuda fans will recall the team losing the first leg of the two match series when Barbados got two late goals from teenage sensation Dishon Howell. The Bermuda players are anxious to get their revenge when they seek to defeat Barbados at the Usain Bolt Turf Complex at the Cave Hill Campus on the University of the West Indies. Since 2011, Bermuda have two wins and one defeat against the Barbados Senior Men’s National Team.
Details on the traveling delegation inclusive of players and officials will be named in due course. The team has begun their preparation in earnest for what promises to be an exciting year for international football in the CONCACAF region.
