www.islandstats.com can reveal that former Bermuda National Athletic Association Head Coach Troy Douglas is now working with Ajax Football Club in the Netherlands.
Ajax have added Douglas to their coaching staff, according to Head of Youth Training Saïd Ouaali.
The top sprinter of the past will focus on training, says Ouaali.
"His specialty will be translated into training with ball, sprinting over the first few meters and turn and turn. In the past, he has trained with Edgar Davids and Klaas Jan Huntelaar has some experience with football, working with players and providing training. That combined with his elite institution is the reason that we get to work with him. Both collectively and individually Douglas has been brought onboard to get the players to do better."
