Kyle Jones blasted the Devonshire Colts into the lead in the 9th minute, he would double the lead in the 32nd minute. The Devonshire Colts would then find themselves ahead 3 - 0 after 34 minute when Eli Smith scored, but the Dandy Town Hornets pulled a goal back in the 35th minute when Angelo Simmons scored, on the stroke of halftime the Devonshire Colts would go 4 - 1 ahead with Teniko Eve scoring. Five minutes into the second half Jones would complete his hat-trick, before Jomei Bean-Lindo would make it 6 - 1 with a goal in the 66th minute. The Dandy Town Hornets would get a own goal in the 74th minute making the score 6 - 2, Simmons would then make if 6 - 3 with his second goal in the 85th minute and then Kwonde Lathan would make it 6 - 4 when he scored in the 88th minute, but with no further goals the Devonshire Colts would pick up 3 valuable points.
