Assisting Commissioner Martin Weekes said, “This is not the Police against the BFA or the BFA against the Police, we have been working on this for sometime.”
Weekes also squashed claims that he has sent letters to two clubs as reported in the print media.
Weekes continued, “I do have a letter that I have written to a few people and it will go to the Clubs once approved by the Attorney General”
Weekes laid out three reasons for players who will not be allowed to play sports at Police Field, “If you are recently convicted of a crime, or you are on bail for serious offenses or your social media presence shows you are actively involved in gang life - you will not be allowed to enter the Police Field.
