Parfitt-Williams Reveals his West Ham Goals

Talented Bermuda-born, Djair Parfitt-Williams who became the first Bermuda born player to take part in the Europa League when he played in the Qualifiers, is back on island to spend a little time with family and friends.

Spotted by West Ham United legend Clyde Best as part of the Hammers' international scouting programme when he was playing for San Jose Earthquakes in the USA, Parfitt-Williams featured in the Barclays U18 Premier League while still a schoolboy, starting the final four matches of the 2012/13 season.

Parfitt-Williams enjoyed a very impressive 2013/14 season by scoring nine goals in 27 appearances, including one FA Youth Cup game, he started the Premier League International Cup fixture with Spanish side Bilbao Athletic at the Boleyn Ground on October 15th, 2014 which was his Development Squad debut.

During the 2014/15 season, Parfitt-Williams was the West Ham United Under 18 top goalscorer with nine goals and he was a Dylan Tombides Award nominee.

Parfitt-Williams justified his billing as one of the best players at the Academy. The skillful forward demonstrated his trickery and creativity time and again, making the step up from the Under 18’s to the Development Squad look seamless.

Parfitt-Williams scored a late winner against Leicester City as well as a superb solo effort against Everton, beating three men before rifling a shot into the top corner.

Parfitt-Williams in the that season made 20 appearances for the Under 18’s scoring 9 goals and he also made 12 appearances in the Under 21 team with 2 goals.

In the 2015/16 season, Parfitt-Williams was involved as a substitute in both the first team's UEFA Europa League matches against Lusitanos, he scored his first Under 21 goal of the season against Blackburn Rovers on September 14th.

Parfitt-Williams scored one in the side's 4-0 Cup victory at Exeter City, he was named as a substitute for the first team's Premier League Boxing Day fixture against Aston Villa.

He waas on the scoresheet again on January 4th for the Development Squad against Brighton before scoring twice in the following match at Fulham.

Parfitt-Williams fired West Ham in front again against Blackburn, this time in the Cup, before he was back on the senior squad bench for games against Norwich, Liverpool and Blackburn.

Parfitt-Williams after fighting back to be fit scored the only goal of the game in the opening leg of the Premier League Cup Final against Hull City to help West Ham lift the trophy after the second leg.

Parfitt-Williams made 21 Under 21 appearances with 6 goals and he also made 2 First Team appearances.
