Shots Fired After First Division Match

An incident at the end of this First Division game between BAA and Ireland Rangers at the BAA Field has brought the game of Football back into the light once again for the negative.

Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “At approximately 10.50pm Police and first responders attended a report of an incident that took place at the BAA Field, upon Police arrival, it was ascertained that a male shot over the southern end of the wall at BAA however, no one was injured.

“The area was cordoned off and Police commenced an investigation. Police are interested in speaking with anyone who was in the vicinity of the BAA Field and was outside the perimeter.

“If you have any information or have seen anyone acting suspiciously, we are asking you to contact Police on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.”

In the match BAA moved up the First Division standings to third place with 22 points following their 3 – 0 win over Island Rangers. BAA got 2 goals from Jahkari Furbert and a single strike from Seth Somner.
