The FIFA Appeals Committee headed by Bermuda Football Association President Larry Mussenden will continue to be kept busy right up until the FIFA Congress set for the end of February.
It was announced yesterday that the Investigatory Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee confirmed it will appeal the eight-year suspensions given to FIFA President Sepp Blatter and UEFA chief Michel Platini in a bid to get them banned for life.
They feel the punishment handed down to the Swiss and the Frenchman over an alleged “disloyal” payment of $2 million made to Platini by Blatter by the Adjudicatory Chamber was too lenient.
Today the announcement comes that the World football's governing body FIFA dismisses suspended Secretary General Jerome Valcke.
It is expected that Valcke will appeal to clear his name of wrong doing.
