Barclays Premier League

Djair Parfitt-Williams – West Ham United

Andy Carroll climbed off the bench to fire West Ham back to winning ways with a 2-1 success over Southampton.

Parfitt-Williams was on standby, with several players nursing injuries to be determined at game time Parfitt-Williams was still required to warm up because the injured players until they were given the go ahead, so he sat on the bench behind the bench.

West Ham United looked as though they would have to settle for a sixth successive draw after Michail Antonio's bizarre equalizer cancelled out a Carl Jenkinson own-goal in the first half.

But Carroll, just back from yet another injury lay-off, floored Southampton with a trademark header to secure a first win in nine matches for Slaven Bilic's side.

English League Championship

Nahki Wells – Huddersfield Town

Queen’s Park Rangers are still waiting for their first win under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink after Nahki Wells' 86th-minute free-kick earned Huddersfield a 1-1 draw.

Rangers, in their fifth match since Hasselbaink took over as manager, went ahead five minutes earlier when Sebastian Polter scored his first league goal for the club.

Polter, on as a substitute, turned in the six-yard box and fired home after Jay Emmanuel-Thomas' throw-in had been nudged towards the German striker by Nedum Onuoha.

But Wells brilliantly levelled with a 25-yard strike that rescued a deserved point for Huddersfield, who were the better side for much of the game.

English League One

Rai Simons – Chesterfield

Lee Novak scored Chesterfield's first Sky Bet League One goal in more than eight hours but a superb late free-kick from James Maddison earned Coventry a 1-1 draw at the Proact Stadium.

Novak's glancing header gave new manager Danny Wilson a great start in his first game in charge but Maddison deservedly levelled a minute from the end of normal time.

Rai Simons spent the 90 minutes on the bench.

English League Two

Reggie Lambe – Mansfield

Reggie Lambe and his dominant Mansfield teammates were left frustrated as struggling visitors York held them to a 1-1 draw.

Mansfield had to come from behind but then twice hit the York bar, twice forced good saves from Scott Flinders and saw Matt Green miss a golden close-range chance.

Luke Summerfield sent over a free-kick from the left and, as the home back line advanced, Dave Winfield was able to go past them and guide the ball past Brian Jensen with the deftest of touches.

Adam Chapman sent over their fifth corner from the right and defender Krystian Pearce guided a headed finish inside the left post from 12 yards.

Craig Westcarr and Reggie Lambe forced early saves from Flinders and in the 64th minute Green somehow turned a golden chance onto the crossbar from five yards as he met a low Nathan Thomas cross from the left.

Six minutes later Lambe shot goalwards from 20 yards and again the York crossbar was left shaking.
