Young Men Social Club 5 Wolves 1


At the PHC Stadium, Young Men Social Club came from a goal down at half time to defeat Wolves 5 – 1. Raymond Butterfield gave Wolves a 1 – 0 lead in the 33rd minute a lead they would hold until the 60th minute when Robert Rawlins equalized for the Young Men Social Club. The League Leading goalscorer Clay Darrell gave Young Men Social Club the lead and what proved to be the winner in the 68th minute, Nique Armstrong scored for the Young Men Social Club in the 73rd minute to make the score 3 – 1, before Smith scored his second goal of the game in the 80th minute, Smith completed his hat-trick finding the back of the net in the 87th minute to help Young Men Social Club pull within one point of second place Flanagan’s Onions.

This match was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

St. George’s Colts 6 St. David’s 0

At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Colts defeated the First Division League Leaders St. David’s 6 – 0. Phillip Anderson gave the St. George’s Colts the lead in the 12th minute, Jarazhino Bassett doubled the home teams lead in the 25th minute, Kyle Denbrook scored in the 36th minute and when a St. David’s defender scored an own goal two minutes later the St. George’s Colts took a 4 – 0 lead into the break. Maccai Simmons gave the St. George’s Colts a 5 – 0 lead when he scored in the 49th minute and then he scored his second in the 58th minute as the St. George’s Colts pulled within four points of the League Leaders.

Somerset Eagles 4 Flanagan’s Onions 1

At the White Hill Field, the Somerset Eagles closed the gap to one point in the First Division with this 4 – 1 win over second place Flanagan’s Onions. Nathan Rego opened the scoring for the Somerset Eagles in the 20th minute, that was doubled by Cardel Henry in the 41st minute as they led 2 – 0 at the break. Rashuan Seaman made it 3 – 0 to the Somerset Eagles in the 61st minute only to have Kevin Ronaldson pull a goal back for the Flanagan’s Onions in the 71st minute. Henry scored his second goal of the game and the Somerset Eagles 4th in the 83rd minute as the home team recorded a big win.

PREMIER DIVISION

PHC Zebras 4 Southampton Rangers 2


At the PHC Stadium, the PHC Zebras went in front in 38th minute when Casey Castle scored, but the Southampton Rangers would equalize one minute into the second half through an own goal. Rohan Simons would give the visiting Southampton Rangers the lead when he scored in the 73rd minute, but that only woke the PHC Zebras up, as two minutes later it was 2 – 2 through another Castle strike. Shakir Smith scored in the 79th minute to put the PHC Zebras ahead 3 – 2 and then two minutes later he would strike from the penalty spot to make it 4 – 2.

Hamilton Parish 1 Dandy Town Hornets 5

The Dandy Town Hornets went to the Wellington Oval and left with all three points after defeating Hamilton Parish 5 – 1. The opening goal came in the 5th minute when a Hamilton Parish player scored an own goal, Dominique Lambert made it 2 - 0 to the Dandy Town Hornets in the 25th minute. One minute into the second half Jahnazae Swan would make it 3 - 0 to the Dandy Town Hornets, but five minutes later it was 3 – 1, with Donovan Thompson pulling a goal back for Hamilton Parish. Another own goal in the 62nd minute would give the Dandy Town Hornets a 4 – 1 lead and Tomiko Goater would score in the 76th minute to make it 5 - 1 to the Dandy Town Hornets.

Devonshire Colts 1 Boulevard Blazers 1

At the Police Field, the Boulevard Blazers went in front when Mark Smith scored in the 43rd minute, but an own goal in the 84th minute earned the Devonshire Colts a share of the points as the two teams finished 1 – 1.
