The Rochester Rhinos became the first USL team to secure a playoff spot with a 4-0 win over Dante Leverock and his Harrisburg City Islanders teammates in Rochester.
The first goal came off a penalty kick in the 16th minute after Rochester’s midfielder Alex Dixon was brought down in the box and captain Tony Walls converted the kick.
Harrisburg went down to 10 players when Yann Ekra was sent off in the second half, before Rochester doubled their lead in the 67th minute off a goal from Steevan dos Santos.
Dos Santos added another three minutes later and Asani Samuels closed out the scoring with four minutes left in the game after connecting with a cross from the left from Colin Rolfe.
