Jonte Smith could not repeat his debut performance for Fløy FC in their NM Cupen match going down 5 – 4 on kicks from the penalty Mark after ending regulation time locked at 1 – 1 with Vindbjart.
Vindbjart took the lead in the 55th minute through a Victor Vindfjell goal, but Smith’s teammate Sander Birkeland equalized in the 78th minute to earn Fløy FC the draw.
After half hour Robert Skaårdal had a fine shot attempts from 17 and 18 yards out. Smith and Robert Skårdal were active in this period, but at the end of the first half the score remained 0 – 0.
Second half started with Fløy FC having a few close calls, after 48 minutes Smith had a chance saved.
But Vindbjart got the night’s first goal after a shot from about 20 yard, but Birkeland would equalize scoring from a rebound from a shot from Lars Kristian Pedersen.
In extra time, it seemed that both teams were tired and it was not produced the big chances, but it was constantly nerve in the game. Penalty competition was dramatic. After the first five penalties were 4-4 Andreas Jacobsen missed for Floy FC on the sixth attempt.
