Bermuda is being led by Zeiko Lewis in their second 2018 FIFA World Cup Warm-up match against Grenada at the National Sports Center.
Ten minutes into the match a Marco Warren attempted shot was headed against the upright by Jaylen Harvey, one minute later Bermuda took the lead, a cross from Zeiko Lewis was headed in by Antwan Russell giving Bermuda the 1 – 0 lead.
Moron Phillip was cautioned in the 26th minute for a tackle on Russell, because Bermuda kept possession he was booked after the play ended, two minutes later Harvey joined him in the referees book for a late tackle.
Bermuda continued to keep the pressure on the visitors, but could not penetrate winning corner after corner, but they kept failing to get shots off.
Wendell Rennie received a yellow card in the 40th minute for a late tackle on Harvey, the Russell goal was the only one scored in the half as the referee brought the half to an end.
Bermuda made a change at the half, with Cecoy Robinson coming on for LeJuan Simmons, six minutes into the half Bermuda made two more changes, bringing off Marco Warren and Russell, with Casey Castle and Rai Simons. In the 56th minute Shane Rennie received a yellow card for a bad tackle on Castle.
The presence of Simons up front for Bermuda saw the pace pick up, as he established a partnership with Lewis, Grenada keeper Jason Belfon did well to deny Simons when the strike was put through on goal, Casey in the 75th minute had a long range shot saved by Belfon.
Lewis was carried off the field in the 86th minute after being fouled he was replaced by Jahnaze Swan. In stoppage time Bermuda doubled the lead when Castle tapped in from close range after Simons used his pace and blew pass his marker before drilling the ball across the goal that Belfon could only push into the path of Castle.
