Major League Soccer invited 19 to players to participate in the 2015 Caribbean Combine in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
One of the players was Bermuda’s Jonte Smith, however Smith attempt to impress the scouts came up short.
Players competed in front of league scouts for the opportunity to earn an invitation to the 2015 Adidas MLS Player Combine in Fort Lauderdale, beginning on January 8th.
All MLS Combine invitees however are eligible for selection in the 2015 SuperDraft presented by Adidas which will be held on Thursday, January 15th in Philadelphia.
Reports out of Puerto Rico indicate that the hometown boy Joseph Marrero Garcia was selected.
