At the Devonshire Rec. the Somerset Eagles advanced to the next round of the Shield with a 3 – 1 win over the Paget Lions.
Lamaul Crofton gave the Somerset Eagles the lead in the 33rd minute, which they took to the half time break.
In the 55th minute the scores were level, a free kick into the Somerset Eagles box was not cleared and Dante Wellman was on hand to score from close range. The Somerset Eagles would go back in front in the 76th minute when Khimo Harrison scored a header from close range, Crofton would score his second in injury time for the Somerset Eagles to advance.

The nightcap saw the Devonshire Cougars advance in the Friendship Trophy competition with a 2 – 0 win over the North Village Rams.
Early in the match Devonshire Cougars goalkeeper Kioshi Trott made back to back saves to deny the North Village Rams captain Keishen Bean, first Trott got down low to his left to palm a Bean right footed shot wide for a corner and from the resulting corner Trott tipped a point blank header from Bean over the crossbar for another corner.
The two teams went to the break without a goal being scored.
Seven minutes into the second half the Devonshire Cougars went in front, Machi Battersbee beat North Village Rams goalkeeper Troy Hall hitting a low shot.
The game would remain a see-saw battle with North Village being denied the equalizer when a Devonshire Cougars defender cleared the ball off the line.
It was in injury time when the Devonshire Cougars would put the game away, Sharmari Burns scored from close range thus sending the Devonshire Cougars into the next round of the Friendship Trophy competition.
