Hall Let Go, But Should Say No If Asked

Bermuda International and Northampton Town goalkeeper Freddy Hall was one of the latest players to be told their contracts won't be renewed at the end of the season.

More than likely you will see stories that Hall should or would be joining the Bermuda Hogges, one only has to look to see where that got him the last time!

Hall has made 3 appearances since arriving at Sixfields last summer.

Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd said, "Hall goes with our thanks and best wishes and we hope that he can get himself fixed up elsewhere. By telling the lads early we are hopefully giving them a headstart in their search."

Hall joins Andy Holt, Lewis Young, Nat Webberburn, Michael Built, Jason Crowe and Ryan Gilligan in not having their contracts renewed by Northampton Town.

Back in 2009, Hall was ranked as one of its top 10 goalkeepers of the 2010 class of prospects in the United States for Major League Soccer (MLS).

Hall, was listed fourth by ESPN, he finished his senior campaign as the Northeast Conference First Team goalkeeper after leading the nation in save percentage and total saves for much of the middle portion of the 2009 season.

Hall chose to suit up for the Bermuda Hogges in 2010 and the numbers went south, the Bermuda Hogges played 16 games in 2010 where they finished 10th in the 10 team Division, they gave up 25 goals, which no doubt dropped Hall’s demand as a Professional Goalkeeper.
